Form Coat Epoxy 2000
Form Coat Epoxy 2000 - is a two-part component, V.O.C. free, precast form coating. Form Coat Epoxy 2000 is a epoxy resin system with a 2:1 mix ratio making it easy to use. It may be used on wood, concrete and steel forms.

ADVANTAGES:
• Extremely Hard Surface - when fully cured
• Single Coat Application
• Low Odor
• Bonds to Wood, Concrete and Steel
• 100% Solids/Solvent Free
• V.O.C. Free
• Bonds to Damp Forms
• Simple Mix Ratio (2:1)

COVERAGE: 120 ft./gal. @ 15 mils, varies with porosity of surface.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Ideal 70-80°F, 55-90°F acceptable.

HUMIDITY/DEW POINT: Relative humidity and dew point must be determined before application to avoid adhesion failures. The dew point is used to predict the substrate temperature at which air begins to condense in the form of water on the substrate. Never apply a coating unless the form surface temperature is 5°F above the dew point.

SURFACE PREPARATION: To achieve optimum adhesion, the substrate must be clean, dry and free of all loose and foreign material. Oils, grease, waxes or other contaminates must be removed prior to coating. These can be removed with an application of warm (120-140°F) caustic detergent, steam cleaning or pressure washing. De-grease the form, follow with a hot water rinse. Repeat this procedure until the water does not “bead up” on the form.

MIXING: Mix 2 parts A (resin) to 1 part B (hardener) for 3 minutes using a Jiffy Mixer and a slow speed drill. Mix at a slow speed (less than 850 RPM) to avoid air entrainment. DO NOT mix more material than can be used within the stated working time. REMEMBER - you will have less working time at higher temperatures.

APPLICATION: Can be applied with a squeegee, brush and a medium (1/2” nap) roller. A light sanding between pours will remove any concrete residue and improve the smooth surface profile.

CLEAN-UP: Form Coat Epoxy 2000, before it has hardened, can be removed from tools with mild solvents.

SAFETY: You must refer to the Material Safety Data Sheets (A-505 [resin]/B-505 [hardener]) before using this product.

PACKAGING: 15 gallon kit, 165 gallon kit.
