PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A high quality chemically reactive, ready to use, form release compound consisting of highly refined petroleum based ingredients. V.O.C. compliant.

GENERAL USES

For use on formwork prior to casting concrete, to achieve a clean, architectural release.

FEATURES

• Has a controlled reaction with the free lime in concrete to provide a clean release without the use of pry-bars or tools
• Produces smooth natural architectural surfaces - concrete surface voids are eliminated or reduced - oil stains are eliminated
• Has a controlled reaction with the concrete and will not retard, etch, or soften concrete surfaces, even if over applied
• Is a heavy viscosity material that forms a tough, clinging film even on dense materials such as plastic or fiberglass forms
• Run-down is reduced and reinforcing steel stays cleaner
• May be used on concrete structures that will store potable water
• Has a positive release that keeps forms clean - little, if any, cleaning is necessary between pours
• Repeated use makes wood forms water-repellent and extends their useful life
• Formulated with a rust inhibitor - a light coat immediately upon stripping steel forms will prevent rust for weeks
• Will not stain even white concrete
• Has no deleterious effect upon the natural bonding characteristics of secondary toppings or coatings, caulks or sealants

SPECIFICATIONS

Corps of Engineers specification CW 03101, Section 2.1.2.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BioForm should be applied in a thin uniform film with a sprayer, brush, or roller. No special application equipment is necessary, but a spray application is the most practical. Ponding or pudding is to be avoided. Specific application rates are as follows:
